WAYS OF
ORGANIZING INDEPENDENT WORK IN TEACHING GEOGRAPHY
Abstract.
The
geography curriculum requires enhancing student activity and developing their
life skills. Independent work plays a crucial role in the teaching process in
this regard. It contributes to reinforcing teaching techniques in geography
lessons and enables students to acquire new knowledge independently. When
designing independent tasks, attention has been paid to the requirements they
must meet, their classification, and the sequence in which they should be
completed.
