APPLICATION
OF ICT IN TEACHING THE CONCEPTS OF COMPATIBILITY AND FUNCTION
Abstract. The article
examines issues related to conducting mathematics classes in schools and higher
education institutions. The main task of mathematics is to concretize and
systematize tasks related to practice, to solve them in the most effective way.
The
concepts of correspondence and relation are key concepts of mathematics, not
subject to formal definition. The presentation of any mathematical theory
begins with the fact that some basic concepts are accepted without definition.
In order to explain the essence of the concept of a function, we rely on the
concept of a set, which we accept as the basic concept. The article provides
examples from life situations, with the help of which one can understand the
meaning of functional dependence, which is very important in modern
mathematics. A modern mathematics lesson can be organized using ICT tools, in
particular the mathematical packages GeoGebra, MathCad, Mathematica, MatLab and
Maple.
