USE OF E-LEARNING IN VOCATIONAL
EDUCATION SPECIALTIES: SYSTEMATIZATION OF EXISTING THEORETICAL APPROACHES
Abstract.
Vocational
education has recently been facing challenges caused by geostrategic changes
that have affected the course of the world. Modern technological development,
the redistribution of economic power among countries in the world, the rapid
expansion of cities and demographic changes have made it more important for
vocational education to better respond to the needs of the labor market and
society. E-learning, which is becoming increasingly widespread, is considered
an important way to improve the quality of teaching activities in vocational
education institutions. Despite the lack of sufficient research on this topic,
there are still disagreements about the negative and positive aspects of using
e-learning tools and learning. In addition, some studies have shown that
interest in e-learning in companies is gradually decreasing. We reviewed
various literature to find out what the effects of e-learning on vocational
education are and to identify its negative and positive aspects and ensure its
more effective use. After reviewing the sources, we came to the conclusion that
this is a very effective method for learners and e-learning providers, but to
minimize risks, electronic and e-learning forms can be used in a hybrid form,
and concepts designed for e-learning should be developed to make it more
effective.
