Abstract. This article explores strategies for enhancing cognitive engagement among university students. It focuses on the implementation of active learning approaches and methods aimed at developing critical, logical, and creative thinking. The authors emphasize the importance of student-centered teaching models in deepening cognitive processes and compare the effectiveness of various pedagogical strategies. The study illustrates how the integration of innovative educational methods contributes to the activation of students’ intellectual potential and the enhancement of their cognitive activity.
