THE IMPORTANT ROLE OF TEACHERS
IN CREATING POSITIVE MOTIVATION IN THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS
Abstract. Some
experts note communication as the main driving force of the development of the
student's personality in the process of educational activity. If the teacher
can create the necessary systematizing conditions for communication, a social
motive arises in the student. Social motives are associated with the desire to
be useful to others. At this time, the student acquires the skills of working
in a team, cooperation, and establishing sincere relationships with his
friends. The student's desire to gain a certain status in the collective is
associated with the motive of intention. Acquiring knowledge and enjoying
learning activities are associated with cognitive motives. The relationships of
students in the group are associated with behavioral and self-affirmation
needs. This need is an indicator of the student's development. Here, the
student's needs for self-protection and self-affirmation are also realized.
Self-protection prevails at the level of physiological development, and
self-affirmation at a higher level of the student's personal development. In
the educational process, the student acts as a subject. This is determined by
the student's motive of achieving and striving for his place in society. The
motive of taking his place in society helps to form the foundations of
educational activity in the educational process.
