HUMIDITY
AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY TOPICS IN THE CONTEXT OF THE INTEGRATION OF GEOGRAPHY AND
CHEMISTRY
Abstract. Modern education systems accept the
principles of expanding interdisciplinary connections and organizing hybrid
models as content standards of integrative pedagogical methods. Geography can
form complex teaching modules with disciplines that are close to each other in
content lines. The integration of disciplines by topics makes it possible to
understand their essence on a scientific basis and apply new competencies to
the learning process. The article analyzes issues related to humidity and the chemical
industry in the context of the integration of geography and chemistry. The
distribution of humidity by various quantitative indicators within climatic
zones and climate types affects geochemical and physical-geographical processes
on the Earth. The use of knowledge learned from chemistry during the teaching
of the chemical industry increases students' motivation for the lesson and
synthesizes their metacognitive skills.
Keywords: geography, integration,
