ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING
Abstract. The article examines the relevance of
learning foreign languages, particularly English, in the modern era and
explores the main challenges encountered in their teaching. It emphasizes the
significance of language learning for personal development, professional
activity, and global cooperation. Interaction and communication play a central
role in English language teaching, as language acquisition occurs through
active classroom engagement and the discussion of meaning. The article also
highlights the advantages of early language learning in children,
psychological barriers, and the complexity of school curricula as key
challenges. At the university level, it is essential for students to develop
communication skills aligned with professional terminology and cultural
context. The study concludes that the integration of grammatical knowledge,
vocabulary, interaction, and contextual understanding is fundamental for
effective foreign language teaching.
