Abstract. The socio-political and cultural changes that took place in Yerevan at the end of the 19th century, the publishing of textbooks and books by prominent educators in the Azerbaijani language were among the interesting events of that period. Those publications had a positive impact on the lives of Azerbaijanis living in Yerevan and surrounding areas.

The activity of the founder of the magazine, Jabbar Askarzadeh, in the environment of Yerevan, is relevant both as a historical experience and as a factor in the enrichment of the landscape of our pedagogical thought, and deserves to be the subject of new researches.
