AZERBAIJAN LANGUAGE IS THE STATE LANGUAGE, LET'S PROTECT THIS LANGUAGE AND ITS PURITY
Abstract. The Azerbaijani
language has a very ancient history. Genealogically, it belongs to the Oghuz
subgroup of the Turkic language group, and typologically, to the group of
agglutinative languages. Azerbaijani has the status of the state language. The
Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan proclaims the importance of
protecting this language. Article 21, entitled "State Language,"
states: "The state language of the Republic of Azerbaijan is Azerbaijani.
