INFLUENCE OF PROBLEM-BASED LEARNING IN “KNOWLEDGE
OF THE WORLD” LESSONS IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH
Abstract. The article examines the application of problem-based learning (PBL) in
primary school “Life Skills” lessons and its impact on the development of
students’ research skills and logical thinking. The PBL model not only enhances
students’ activity but also directs them towards independent thinking,
conducting investigations, comparing facts, and drawing conclusions. The paper
highlights the scientific and pedagogical foundations of implementing this
method, its connection with modern teaching technologies, as well as its
practical significance.
