THE ROLE OF DIGITAL SKILLS İN TEACHING THE AZERBAIJANI LANGUAGE IN GENERAL EDUCATION SCHOOLS
Abstract. This article explores
the role of digital skills in teaching the Azerbaijani language in general
education schools. It analyzes the impact of integrating digital technologies
into the learning process on students’ communicative abilities and teachers’
professional development. Comparative analysis based on experiences from
Estonia, Finland, and Turkey provides a broader international perspective. The
study concludes how the development of digital competence significantly
enhances the quality of language education and becomes a core component of
21st-century pedagogy.
