THE USE OF THE
RESEARCH-ORIENTED FORSYTH METHOD IN CHEMISTRY EDUCATION AND ITS IMPACT ON
DEVELOPMENT
Abstract. The
article examines research-based approaches to teaching chemistry and the
methods or techniques used in this process, with particular emphasis on the
Foresight method as a scientific prognostic approach. It explores the
possibilities of applying the techniques of this method- Colb’s experiential
learning model, the Triangle of Similarities, and the T-shaped model in
chemistry education, as well as their role and importance within the value
chain and value-semantic communication. In addition, the article highlights the
development of students’ research skills that contribute to their comprehensive
personal growth, enhanced scientific curiosity, and the formation and
advancement of the competencies and skills required in the modern world.
