FORMATION OF ECOLOGICAL LITERACY IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Abstract. This article examines the necessity of forming ecological literacy in higher education institutions, the challenges encountered, the implemented training strategies, and the evaluation of the results. In an era of increasing global environmental problems, the role of higher education in instilling ecologically oriented knowledge, skills, and values ​​requires special attention. The article comments on both theoretical approaches and practical applications, and proposes effective pedagogical models for improving ecological literacy.
