SOME SPECIAL ASPECTS OF THE SWITCH TO THE LATIN GRAPHIC AZERBAIJAN ALPHABET

Abstract. One of the factors that play an important role in the strengthening of political, economic, literary and cultural relations between the Turkish peoples is related to the use of a single alphabet system.

During the last 30 years, consultations at various levels have prepared a solid foundation for the transition to a common Turkish alphabet with Latin script. The gradual implementation of that transition is very important, and in this regard, it would be interesting to study the experience gained in the Republic of Azerbaijan. In the article, the peculiar aspects of the transition to the Azerbaijani alphabet with Latin script were touched upon, and in the end, the principles that should be expected in the adoption of the common Turkish alphabet with Latin script were explained.
