ANALYSIS OF THE APPLICATION OF THE 5E INSTRUCTIONAL MODEL IN TOPICS RELATED TO THE GEOGRAPHY OF AZERBAIJAN
Abstract. The article discusses the compatibility of the 5E instructional model with
the teaching of Azerbaijani geography in the 6th and 7th grades, demonstrating
that the stages of the model are consistently reflected in the structure of the
textbooks. The analysis shows that the 5E approach enhances students’
observation, analysis, and application skills, thereby contributing to a deeper
understanding of geographical concepts. Consequently, the model is evaluated as
an effective and purposeful methodological framework for teaching topics
related to the geography of Azerbaijan.
