ASPECTS OF ORGANIZING OPEN LESSONS IN TEACHING
BIOLOGY
Abstract. An open lesson is a teacher's presentation of a
sample lesson aimed at improving the quality of education and introducing
innovation. This article examines all aspects of conducting open lessons – from
choosing a topic and format to note-taking, analysis, and self-reflection. It
explains the teacher's approach to structure and organization, the tasks to be
solved, and the results achieved. Various open lesson formats and the types of
assignments that can be used are discussed. It also provides numerous helpful
tips and recommendations to help prepare a successful open lesson.
