EVALUATION IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract. The article substantiates with scientific evidence that assessment is an important pedagogical tool in quality management, predicting development dynamics, and increasing the effectiveness of training in the modern education system. At the same time, it is noted that objective assessment mechanisms not only determine the degree of students' mastery of knowledge and skills, but also form a necessary database for diagnosing the educational process. The application of new formative, stimulating and scientifically substantiated assessment models is put forward as a pressing issue in order to eliminate the subjective approaches encountered in pedagogical practice. In the end, the creation of new assessment mechanisms is of exceptional importance in terms of preventing negative situations in the educational environment and strengthening the personality-oriented learning model.
