GENDER ISSUES AND SOCIAL CHANGES IN THE DIGITAL WORLD

Abstract. The article analyzes gender issues encountered in the digital world and new social changes that are emerging. Technology plays a significant role in eliminating gender inequality and advancing women, and serves as an important tool for equality on a global scale. While digital transformation has created new avenues for women’s empowerment, discrimination, negative stereotypes, and social and cultural biases still create challenges for women to thrive in a highly digital economy and society. Women’s difficulties in accessing and using digital technologies deepen gender inequality and limit women’s participation in technological developments.
