METHODS TO PREVENT SCHOOLCHILDREN’S INCLINATION TOWARDS ASOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
Abstract. In this article, the author presents noteworthy
reflections on an issue that deeply concerns society. In her view, the
Azerbaijani people’s long-standing commitment to national values, customs,
traditions, and national ideology has contributed to socio-economic progress
and played a positive role in shaping a healthy lifestyle for all.
Although many
teenagers voluntarily participate in school-related public activities in recent
years, there are still pupils who display a superficial attitude towards national
values, customs and traditions, personal social engagement, moral values, and
education.
Unfortunately,
among those who use substances leaving harmful marks on human life, there are
pupils of younger age as well. This deeply worries every one of us. We must
fight not only against such tendencies, but also against the individuals who
spread these harmful habits among children. Since teenagers advance through
life on fragile steps and their willpower is weak, leading them astray is very
easy, and there are those who skilfully exploit these weaknesses.
The author points out that the number of people worldwide who die from drug
addiction, tobacco products, and alcoholic beverages far exceeds the number of
those who perish during natural disasters and wars. The time has come to say
"no" to such antisocial acts, and every citizen must join forces in
this struggle.
