Akif Nuragha Abbasov

A SCIENTIST WHO PLAYED AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF PEDAGOGICAL SCIENCE IN AZERBAIJAN: ACADEMICIAN HUSEYN AHMEDOV

Abstract. Academician Huseyn Mustafa Akhmadov is a prominent figure in Azerbaijani pedagogical thought and the history of schools. He is also an exemplary researcher in the field of pedagogical theory. Huseyn is a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, a professor, and a recipient of a Presidential Scholarship. He was elected a foreign member of the Russian Academy of Education. He has authored over 600 scientific papers and published 30 volumes of "Selected Works." He has supervised over 60 PhDs and Doctors of Science.
