THE APPLICATION OF GAME-BASED
LEARNING METHODS IN INCREASING THE LEARNING MOTIVATION OF PRIMARY SCHOOL
STUDENTS
Abstract. Increasing the desire to learn in
primary school students and ensuring its sustainability is one of the important
requirements facing the modern education system. Research and experiments
conducted in this field show that the correct and systematic application of
game-based learning methods during lessons can also play an important role in
increasing students' interest and active participation in the lesson. Unlike
traditional teaching methods, organizing the learning process through games
increases the level of encouragement and motivation of students, develops their
activity and creativity. These methods also ensure deep mastery of the lesson
during the learning process and, by increasing interest in the lesson,
contribute to the formation of students' personal and social skills. Taking
into account all these positive aspects, this approach should be applied to
students. In addition, the compatibility of games with the curriculum, the
level of preparation of teachers, the innovativeness of infrastructure and
teaching methods should be taken into account. Thus, the application of
game-based learning methods plays an important role as an effective tool in
increasing students' motivation and attracting them more to the lesson, and the
results of research conducted in this field provide guidance for their
practical use.
