REGULATION OF THE ENVIRONMENT FOR
DEVELOPING STUDENTS’ SKILLS RELATED TO INFORMATION CULTURE AND TECHNOLOGICAL
LITERACY
Abstract. The article states that in the
“techno-democratic information society,” intellectual and creative activity
becomes a dominant necessity for every individual. It is desirable for each
member of this society to rise to the level of a subject possessing
intellectual competencies and have both information culture and technological
literacy.
The research
presents the characteristics of “Education 4.0,” which provides an effective
environment for developing intellectual skills (skills inherent to the subject
of information culture and technological literacy) in learners. It also
introduces logically structured groups of these skills within this system.
The article
emphasizes(highlights) that these tasks are designed based on the principle of
modelling the structure of various intellectual skills. As students complete
them, they acquire intellectual abilities such as defining the purpose of their
work, systematizing educational materials accordingly, independently collecting
information, and so on.
The study
focuses on the selection and systematization of tasks aimed at developing
skills related to information culture and technological literacy (intellectual
skills), as well as on the didactic principles that should guide organizing
students’ activities in working with these tasks.
