THE IMPACT OF
DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION ON EDUCATION IN AZERBAIJAN: OPPORTUNITIES AND CHALLENGES
Abstract. In the contemporary
period, the rapid development of information and communication technologies has
led to profound structural changes in the field of education. Digital
transformation creates significant opportunities for improving the quality of
education, personalizing the learning process, and expanding access to
education. However, this process also brings a number of challenges, such as
inadequate infrastructure, the level of digital maturity of teaching staff,
security risks, and digital inequality. The article analyzes the current state
of digital transformation in general and higher education in Azerbaijan,
examines projects implemented within the framework of state policy, and
proposes solutions to existing problems based on a comparative analysis of
international experience.
