THE SOCİO-PSYCHOLOGİCAL İMPACT OF THE SİNGER ON THE AUİDİENCE DURİNG MUGHAM PERFORMANCE
Abstract. The article
evaluates the socio-psychological characteristics of Azerbaijani mugham as a
very deep phenomenon reflecting the emotions, way of thinking and social life
of the people. The study shows that mugham is a complex musical system that
creates catharsis in the human psyche, provides emotional regulation and
strengthens collective empathy. The improvisational nature and microtonal
structure of mugham affect both the conscious and subconscious levels of the
listener. It is from this perspective that the singer transmits his experiences
to the audience while performing mugham. At this time, a special connection is
created between them.
