MECHANISMS FOR INCREASING THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM

Abstract. The article discusses the important role of upbringing in the life of society, as well as the relevance of environmental education. It is noted that in the modern period, the main goal of upbringing is the comprehensive development of the individual and the formation of a person possessing national and universal values, patriotism, and high moral qualities. In this context, the development of environmental culture is considered an important task, and its formation should begin within the family and continue at all levels of education. The importance of using various methods and means for implementing environmental education among preschool children is emphasized. In the learning process, it is necessary to take into account the age and psychological characteristics of children, as well as to develop their interest in nature, thinking, and speech skills. Connecting environmental knowledge with previously acquired knowledge contributes to the formation of a more stable and conscious attitude toward the environment among children.
