TRANSFORMATION OF TEACHER AUTHORITY IN THE
ERA OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
Abstract. The article
explores the transformation of teacher authority and its impact on pedagogical
relationships in the context of the widespread integration of Artificial
Intelligence (AI) technologies into the education system. In the tradition-nal
pedagogical model, the teacher acted as the primary source of knowledge and the
sole authoritative figure; however, in the modern digital environment, this
role is undergoing significant changes. AI-based systems limit the teacher's
information-sharing function by expanding students' access to data, yet they
simultaneously highlight the teacher's role as a moderator and mentor. The
results of the research indicate that teacher authority is not disappearing
entirely; rather, it is being transformed by acquiring new communicative and
pedagogical content. This evolution fosters more interactive and
collaboration-oriented pedagogical relationships.
