Abstract. In this article, pragmatism, flexible and intelligent state policy, systematic and consistent approach, foresight and principledness, high management skills, all these belong to President Ilham Aliyev. He was able to skillfully adapt Azerbaijan to the call of the time. The preservation of the existing socio-political and socio-economic stability in our country is considered the most successful result of President Ilham Aliyev's activities. From the first day of his election, Ilham Aliyev promised to continue the policy of the great leader Heydar Aliyev. He promised to become the president of every citizen and protect the interests of the people.
