LEARNING THROUGH PLAY: A NEW LOOK AT THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOGICAL THINKING IN PRESCHOOL-AGED CHILDREN

Abstract. The development of logical thinking in preschool children is a prerequisite for their future educational success. At this age, the processes of perception, memory, and emotion are not yet fully formed, therefore, the learning process should be provided in accordance with their developmental characteristics, through play.Learning through play helps children form logical operations such as programming, generalization, classification, and systematization. Thinking skills, simple development, initiative, agility, and independence develop. Didactic games, puzzles, labyrinths, etc. teach children to choose the main features and general concepts based on their compatibility and differences.
