THE ROLE OF MODERN EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES IN PREPARING SCHOOL STUDENTS FOR INFORMATICS OLYMPIADS
Abstract. The article
examines the role of modern educational technologies in preparing school
students for Informatics Olympiads. The study analyzes teaching methods,
interactive approaches, and programming-oriented activities applied in the
preparation process for Informatics Olympiads. Special attention is paid to the
organization of work with gifted students in informatics and to the development
of their programming and algorithmic thinking skills. The article highlights
the application possibilities of lectures, practical exercises, group
discussions, brainstorming methods, and automated learning tools in Olympiad
preparation. At the same time, a three-stage training model for the development
of talent in programming is presented. The research results show that the
systematic use of innovative and individualized teaching technologies has a
significant impact on students’ successful performance in Informatics
Olympiads.
