THE USE OF SYNONYMS İN LEARNİNG RUSSİAN AS A FOREİGN LANGUAGE

Summary. The article explores the linguodidactic potential of the synonymic resources of the Russian language as a fundamental tool for overcoming lexical deficit and developing authentic communicative competence in foreign students. The author thoroughly analyzes the cognitive and stylistic specificity of the Russian synonymic series and classifies typical interference errors occurring in a foreign audience due to violations of lexical compatibility and stylistic dissonance. The paper explicates methodological approaches to the step-by-step integration of synonyms into the educational process through a framework of contextualized exercises. It is proved that the conscious choice of synonymic units serves as a key factor in the qualitative transformation of the speech activity of a speaker.
