THE ROLE OF INTERACTIVE TASKS AND METHODOLOGY OF THEIR APPLICATION IN DEVELOPING SPEAKING SKILLS OF LOWER-LEVEL STUDENTS IN LANGUAGE FACULTIES

Abstract. In the modern higher education system, foreign language teaching requires students to possess not only theoretical knowledge but also the ability to express their thoughts freely in real-life communication. Overcoming the language barrier and developing speech habits is a significant challenge, particularly for lower-level students at the initial stage of their education. Since traditional, teacher-centered methods often fall short in ensuring students' linguistic activity, investigating the methodology of implementing interactive tasks becomes extremely relevant. The purpose of the research is to determine the role of interactive tasks in forming the speaking skills of lower-level students and to propose effective methodological models for their application in the educational process.
