ISSUES OF UPBRİNGİNG OF DIGNITY IN THE EPIC OF DEDE GORGUD

Abstract. The article addresses an issue that has remained relevant throughout all eras. In the modern age, where mass media has deeply influenced the consciousness of the younger generation, fostering a sense of dignity comes to the forefront. The blind dependence of the younger generation on issues raised by social networks highlights the urgency of this problem. The Book of Dede Gorgud holds a special place in the ethnopedagogy of the Azerbaijani people. The epic explains the upbringing of dignity through the characters of both women and men. The article also examines the views of scholars conducting research in this area and provides relevant quotations. It explores the impact of fostering dignity, as reflected in The Book of Dede Gorgud, on shaping the younger generation.
