PSYCHOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF LEARNING MOTIVATION  IN PRIMARY SCHOOL AGE

Abstract. This article examines the development of educational motivation and its psychological characteristics during primary school. It analyzes the nature and types of educational motivation (intrinsic and extrinsic motivation) and their impact on children's learning. It examines the age-related characteristics of primary school children, their cognitive processes, emotional state, and the role of teacher-student relationships in the development of motivation. The study demonstrates that a well-organized educational process and a positive psychological environment increase students' interest in learning and create the conditions for their success.
