Irada
Boyukaga Amiralieva
was born in 1967 in the city of Guba. In 1984-1989 she studied at the Faculty
of Mechanics and Mathematics of the Azerbaijan State University (now – Baku
State University), and in 2003 she completed the full course of the retraining
education of the Azerbaijan Teachers' Institute majoring in psychology.
Since
2010, she started working as a senior researcher at the Department of Theoretical
Problems of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education (later Teacher Training
Curriculum) of the Institute of Educational Problems of the Republic of
Azerbaijan. Currently working as a leading researcher at the Scientific
Secretariat of the Institute of Education of the Azerbaijan Republic.
In
2015, I.B. Amiralieva defended her dissertation on the topic: “Formation of
tolerance among students of higher schools” and received the degree of Doctor
of Philosophy.
She
conducts effective research in the field of moral education of students,
optimization of the educational process, the formation of tolerance among young
people, and initial pedagogical training. I. Amiralieva is the author of the
monograph “Formation of Tolerance in Higher School Students”, the textbook
“From the History of Pedagogical Thought” and the curriculum of the same name, and
one of the co-authors of the textbook “Theory and History of Pedagogy”.
I. Amiralieva
has published more than 70 scientific articles and conference proceedings.
She
made lecturers on the issues she studied at a number of republican and international
scientific conferences, and put forward useful proposals for improving higher
education and the educational process in universities.
